    Global Citizenship Exhibit

    Throughout the month of April, Amnesty International was displaying over 75 different photographs in an exhibition entitled " Global Citizenship." the exhibit was composed entirely of work from students thaT portray various aspects of different cultures around the world.  Many of the photographs were being sold in a silent auction to raise money for the internationa non-profit organization Doctors Without Borders, which provides much-needed healthcare in developing countries and war zones.  The accepted bids until April 22.

      I have purchased three of the photographs that I will be putting up for auction. Each photograph is a 13" X 9.5" shot which was created to allow students to share their own experiences in global communities.  The exhibit initially began as and idea for Peace Week but later became an independent event. 

      The students which made the choices of which photographs would be in the show went through hte task of reviewing all the submissions.  We chose the most meaningful, that show something unique to the geographical location.

      The titles for the three that will be up for auction are as follows,
